After careful consideration for about two weeks, I finally made the decision to go the hair salon and cut it short. It's not easy (though I know it never been easy for me to make any decision... ). When the stylist asked: are you ready? The only answer I can have is: yes, ready, however unprepared i actually was. The cut on the hair was like cutting into my heart. They are no longer there anymore.

No particular reason. I just want a change. And maybe, not long, I will wear long hair again.

So, the person who can provide notary service is the one who can certificate that he witness you sign your whatever documents, witness you and your ID matches....One can get his birthday, visa....notarized.

Got this on-campus job at the end of last semester. Today is my first day working there. Although it's only two hours, got many new, detailed stuff to learn. And learn to be polite and nice to every comer, sell a ticket, get the phone call through, balabalababla...
"Morning, it's Grad Center, how can I help you today?"
"May I ask who is calling?"
"Please hold on for a minute."
"Would you like to leave a message?"
"Anything else I can do for you?"

All the words that I used to hear when calling the customer service, now are coming out from my mouth.
Hope this seemingly "plain" work can bring some fun to my research life.

Today, when i was browsing business week online, i noticed the title "GMAT cheating controversy grows" in most popular stories. My first impression was: is any Chinese involved? (I am so sorry to admit this) With the hope to deny myself, i scrawled down the article until i found a Chinese name: the man behind the scandal. At that moment, I feel so ashamed......why is it always Chinese? Is there anything deep down in us to be related to the "c" word? Or something went wrong in our education? score-oriented, less emphasis on integrity...... To be franc, i am less worried what went wrong in the past, but more worried is it still wrong nowadays?
